Susan Flemming, November 2021 Service Excellence Superstar of the Month

Susan Flemming, RN took home the Curry Health Network Service Excellence Superstar of the Month award after having been selected by a committee of peers in November 2021. She was nominated by a fellow employee in the acute care department at Curry General Hospital where she has worked since April 2019. In the nomination, the coworker recognized Susan's flexibility and outstanding dedication to our patients.

"When presented with an extremely difficult staffing situation, Susan has repeatedly stepped up to the plate. She agreed to work night shift for an entire schedule, switched shifts when needed, and took a larger-than-ever caseload when all attempts to secure more nurses failed."

Susan received a $100 award and an engraved myrtlewood plaque in recognition of her efforts.
