CHN is proud to recognize Sherry Dye, Respiratory Therapist, as this month’s Service Excellence Superstar!Sherry was nominated by a colleague and chosen by a committee of past superstar winners for her outstanding demonstration of our CHN values—service, teamwork, curiosity, and integrity.
Sherry not only educates our medical staff on the life-changing benefits of Cardiopulmonary Rehab, but she is also actively saving lives. Recently, she identified a patient experiencing severe bradycardia at rest, performed a rapid assessment, and immediately sent the data to a Cardiologist. Her swift action prompted urgent medication adjustments and potential pacemaker placement. As her nominator shared, “Her quick thinking and expertise exemplified the critical role rehab professionals play in patient safety and outcomes.”
Her actions reflect her deep commitment to service and integrity—always putting patient safety first. Her collaboration with physicians highlights the power of teamwork, and her curiosity drives her to continually improve care.
