Shelly Pierson Received Service Excellence Superstar Honors for Second Time

This month we once again celebrate Service Excellence Superstar Shelly Pierson, Patient Access Specialist.

Shelly was also the Superstar of June 2023, and her dedication and hard work were recently recognized by her colleague, Mary Barentine. Mary shared that Shelley has been a Rock Star at the front desk, especially during the anticipated closure of Coast Community Health. She has been working tirelessly, handing out new patient packets, addressing patient concerns, and ensuring all information is accurately entered into Epic. Her efforts help patients transition smoothly while keeping their medications and records up to date.

In addition to her front desk responsibilities, Shelley has taken the initiative to learn referrals, scanning, and scheduling to help improve workflow at Curry Family Medical (CFM). She consistently goes above and beyond, working Fridays and filling in on weekends to support other offices. As Mary put it, “CFM would all apart without Shelly—she truly is the glue that holds this office together!”
