Lauri Cotton Named CHN's February 2026 Service Excellence Superstar
CHN is proud to recognize Lauri Cotton, Medical Assistant, as this month’s Service Excellence Superstar! Lauri was recognized for going above and beyond when a former patient arrived at one of CHN’s clinics in crisis and in need of immediate support. Without hesitation, she guided the patient to a private exam room while additional help was being arranged.
For nearly an hour, Lauri remained by the patient’s side, offering a calm presence, a listening ear, and reassurance during a very vulnerable moment. Her ability to create a safe, supportive space helped the patient feel heard and cared for during a time of significant distress.
As her nominating colleague shared, “She didn’t need to be asked—her natural instincts to help were evident, and it’s clear she values each patient as a person.”
Lauri’s actions reflect the very best of service excellence. She stepped in without hesitation, led with compassion, and made a meaningful difference in a difficult situation.
