Heidi Johnston, October 2021 Service Excellence Superstar of the Month
Curry Health Network is pleased to announce that Medical Assistant Heidi Johnston was selected by a committee of her peers as CHN's Service Excellence Superstar of the Month for October 2021.
Heidi was nominated for the award by the daughter of a patient who highlighted Heidi's willingness to go above and beyond for our patients.
"My dad had an unexpected quadruple bypass heart surgery in Medford. We were having a hard time getting everything we needed in order for him to come home. Heidi took all of his information and took care of his needs. Today, a hospital bed will be delivered, and we'll be ready for him to come home," the patient's daughter said.
The nomination specifically cited Heidi's compassion, commitment to excellence, and integrity. The daughter explained that the situation had been a very hard and emotional time for their family, and that Heidi and PA Bram Spitael went above and beyond to take care of them.
"It means more than words can say", she said.
It is heartfelt nominations like this that highlight how much caring, compassion, a commitment to make a difference, and decisive action can mean to CHN's patients, and how superstars like Heidi step up to fill the need.
