Corrie Lasater Named CHN's August 2025 Service Excellence Superstar

Recently, on her scheduled day off, Corrie drove to Curry Medical Center (CMC) to cover a last-minute call-out during a critical staffing shortage. She jumped in without hesitation, bringing the steady, upbeat presence she’s known for even on the busiest days.
Corrie has been putting in extra hours to bridge staffing gaps—drawing inpatients when needed, then heading to CMC for high-volume morning outpatient draws. She doesn’t just respond to problems; she investigates and solves them. For example, she identified that sed rate charges had not been posting correctly since go-live and helped move the issue toward resolution. She also attends meetings, assists with interviews, manages inventory, and steps in wherever she’s needed—all while treating patients and coworkers with kindness and respect.
“Corrie brings an exceptionally positive attitude to every shift. Even on the tough days, she’s solutions-focused and a joy to work with,” shared nominator Nicole Tripodi.
