Chris O'Connor, September 2021 Service Excellence Superstar of the Month
Curry Health Network is pleased to announce that Maintenance Engineer Chris O'Connor was selected by a committee of his peers as CHN's Service Excellence Superstar of the Month for September 2021.
Chris was nominated by a staff member who wrote, "During a very stressful delivery of our mobile CT unit, Chris was incredibly helpful. He spent so much time and effort making sure the delivery was successful, and - without hesitation - went above and beyond what should have been required of him."
CHN thanks Chris for being quick to think of solutions for problems that were not his to solve, and to completely change the outcome of the delivery. He was willing to share his knowledge with the delivery driver who had issues with leveling the trailer. "Once the trailer was acceptably leveled and the GE service engineer was working to program the machine, we found more issues - this time with the power supply in the trailer."
Once again, Chris quickly stepped up to resolve the power supply issue, staving off what could have been a week-long delay in our ability to provide vital CT imaging scans to our patients. "Not only did he solve every problem that was thrown at us, but he also worked to keep a positive attitude and kept the mood light during what was a very stressful situation," the nominating staff member noted.
