Gonzales' Infectious, Positive Attitude Garners Service Excellence Superstar of the Month Award


Curry Health Network is pleased to announce that Gladys Gonzales, a Patient Access Specialist with the organization since April 2019, was selected by a committee of her peers as the July 2021 Service Excellence Superstar of the Month.

“photoGladys was nominated by co-worker Melissa Jones for what CEO Ginny Williams summarized as a "shining, positive, and infectious attitude". Gonzales was helping train new-to-her-position Jones who expressed appreciation of her integrity, compassion, accountability, stewardship, teamwork, and excellence. She likely perfected those attributes during her years of banking experience at Chetco Federal Credit Union and Rogue Credit Union prior to joining the Curry Health Network team.

"Gladys is awesome! She is always smiling and always there to help. She never makes it seem as though you're bothering her (even though I bother her a lot). Gladys helps patients with anything even if it is not within her scope; she goes out of her way to make sure they are taken care of," Jones said. "Gladys is always on top of it and never makes me feel bad about my mistakes," she continued.

CEO Williams agreed with Jones' assertion that Glady is a Rockstar. "Her positive attitude is infectious and makes everyone want to be around her", Williams added.
