NOTE FROM THE CEO
This month I have some good news and some not so good news.
Let’s start with the good news first. We have two new providers joining our network; Karen Morrow, FNP is a nurse practitioner, who specializes in family and pediatric medicine. She joins us from Crescent City where she has an established practice.
Greg Tjossem, MD is a Family Practice doctor joining us from Iowa. Both will start in January and provide much needed capacity in Brookings.

How many hours of sleep did you get last night? Our alarm clocks jolt us awake before the sun is up in the mornings, and parents and children alike often do not find themselves drifting off to sleep until late into the night. Many high school students and their parents stumble out the door each morning with only 5 or 6 hours of sleep to get them through the day. They are bleary-eyed and only partially coherent. But that’s what coffee is for, right? Wrong.

OUR CURRENT JOB OPENINGS:
(all positions are located in Gold Beach unless otherwise specified)
CNA - Per Diem. Must have current Oregon CNA II license; hospital experience preferred.
Housekeeper - Per Diem at Curry General Hospital. Previous housekeeper experience preferred. This is an as-needed position without benefits.
Medical Assistant - full-time in Port Orford. Previous experience in a healthcare evironment strongly preferred.
Medical Technologist/MLT; full-time (may be scheduled to work in Brookings and/or Gold Beach as needed). Previous experience in a hospital or medical clinic setting required.
RN – Infusion/IV Therapy; full-time or part-time for Curry Medical Center in Brookings. Must have infusion/IV therapy experience in a hospital or medical clinic setting. Expert IV skills.CRNI certification preferred. Requires current OR RN license and BLS.
RN - OB/L&D; full-time. Must have working OB with Labor and Delivery experience; Med/Surg and/or ER experience a plus. Requires current Oregon license and BLS/ACLS.
RN - Per Diem. Must have current Oregon RN license and BLS, must have RN work experience.
RN - Surgery/Circulator; full-time. Must have Scrub/Circulator experience; pre/post op and patient prep experience a plus. Requires current Oregon RN license and BLS/ACLS.
